Premium Japanese Sake Hits USA Shores
-----------------
News Release
November 2nd 2001
-----------------
ESAKE.COM INC. announced today the start of Internet sales of premium Japanese sake in the United States.
Osaka-based eSake currently offers 11 premier products to US customers, one from each of its 11 member breweries, all small family-run "boutique" sake brewers with character-laden, memorable sake. Each product is best enjoyed cool or chilled, says eSake, as warming it tends to mask or destroy the flavor.
Those interested in sake can visit http://www.esake.com and sip deeply from the world of sake. The site is rich with background information on sake and those who brew it. Here one can discover the traditions and secrets of this ancient Japanese art. For those who want to taste tradition, sake can be purchased securely online using a major credit card, with delivery direct to the consumerfs door in the 20 states currently available for delivery.
In addition to the initial 20 states, delivery will begin within two months in several other major market states, including New York, Florida, Texas, Massachusetts, and New Jersey.
Sales and delivery are made possible in partnership with importer and national sales representative Vine Connections (based in San Francisco) and in association with WSN, LLC, a premier wine and spirits delivery network offering fast and affordable global delivery. WSN is also based in San Francisco.
